VIEWPOINT
WASHINGTON DC (AUG 27) - A new political dynamism has caught up with Tigrians, and it is a transition from TPLF-controlled dull life to a one-country one-people political culture.
At the Solidarity Festival held in Washington DC over the weekend, Ethiopians of Tigrai origin are working hands in glove with each other to ostracize the Eritrean clique of Meles Zenawi, stamp out the self-destroying TPLF legacy, and help build the rule of law in Ethiopia with same-minded fellow Ethiopian compatriots.
There is nothing more gratifying than to see former political activists who were eyeing each other with enmity now embracing with love and new-found spirit of oneness that does augur well for the coming together of all Ethiopians who wish to do away with the camouflaged "leaders" wrecking havoc on our age-old freedom-loving country.
Veteran TPLF combatants who fought for over 15, 16, and 17 years, describing TPLF leaders as a group responsible for untold atrocities, and their destructive impact on our Motherland Ethiopia, was an appeal that did not take time to draw the full attention and support of most professionals, business persons, workers, as well as former veteran political activists such as from EPRP, EDU etc. to work in one spirit which some of them called it the "Rebirth of a young, loving, patriotic generation of Ethiopians."
Solidarity is undoubtedly conducting a quiet revolution, and as far as the cadres of Meles Zenawi are concerned, it was crystal clear to them that a tide of change was gathering momentum, and the emergence of a dynamic political activism within the ranks of Ethiopians was unstoppable. Details are forthcoming...
On this occasion, EthioMedia staff congratulates all Solidarity members, and our hosts Solidarity Board members, and the professional media crew of Washington DC, for making the anniversary a success.
