I now write to ask for your help in the full text of the letter sent by Sir Elihu Lauterpacht, Chairman of the Ethiopia-Eritrea Boundary Commission. So far only brief excerpts from that letter have appeared on the Intenet. However, a detailed rebuttal of that letter by the Ethiopian Government was recently posted on the 'Net, but in the absence of the full text of Sir Elihu's letter, we academics do not know what to make of the real situation. Can you please help us find the URL if Sir Elihu's letter has in fact been already posted. If it has not been posted in its entirety, can you do so on your Website? This is a very important document for those who are trying to maintain a full and accurate dossier of the border conflict and the "peace process" between the two countries. We urge the Meles regime to release the official letter to the public so that Ethiopians would be better informed about how to defend the national interests of their country.
