"All proceeds from Senzero sales go to other child-focused programs," said Senzero doll creator Girma Zelleke, and Australian supporter Robert Harding, the latter a rotarian from Australia.
Mr. Harding and his wife became aware of the Senzero project when they were visiting local projects in Ethiopia supported from Australia.
Girma and Harding are also planning to develop a limited release Senzero doll to raise awareness and funds for the Polio Plus program which aims to eradicate polio from the world by the end of 2005.
All profits from the sale of these unique dolls go to the ongoing development of the Koala Centre and other child health and healthcare training Projects in Ethiopia. Senzero has also his own website where online purchase is possible: Senzero.
