Dr. Catherine Hamlin, founder of Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital, and "mother" to thousands of fistula girls and women throughout Ethiopia, will appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show this week:

* Friday, January 16, on ABC at 4:00 pm local time on the East and West Coasts
* Monday, January 19, at 7:00 pm on the "Oprah After Show" on the Oxygen Network (cable)
* Other air times can be found in your local area listings for Friday, January 16; the title of the show is "Lisa Ling."

During her interview, Dr. Hamlin tells Oprah about the tragedies faced by the fistula victims before they find out about the hospital, and how the hospital changes their lives. Her story touched the hearts of Oprah and her studio audience, and is bound to touch yours as well.

Even if you've never felt compelled to watch the Oprah Show before, you won't want to miss this! If you can't "play hooky" from work, try programming your VCR to record it so that you can view it later, or have a friend record it for you.
