Ethiopia’s Human Development Index (HDI) increased 18% from 1990 to 2003, an average of just over 1% annually. Ethiopia is ranked 170th out of 177 countries in HDI.3
This is the story over the last fifteen years. Perhaps the next few years will be better. Hope springs eternal.
