ADDIS ABABA - Former US President Bill Clinton will be at ALERT Clinic in Addis Ababa to break ground for Ethiopia's family-focused pediatric AIDS treatment program in Ethiopia, program hosts Christian Children's Fund of Canada (CCFC) announced in a news release on Monday.

The hosts said the innovative partnership between the Clinton’s HIV/AIDS Initiative and CCFC would save thousands of children’s lives now and in the future.

"In advance of the XVI International AIDS Conference taking place in Toronto in August, this demonstrates how CCFC, a Canadian organization, is taking the lead in the fight against HIV/AIDS that is becoming a disabling pandemic in parts of Africa. It is newsworthy to note that all supplies and toys for the pediatric treatment centre have been donated by Canadian businesses," the news release said.

The press release will be available on Canada Newswire on Sunday July 16th along with photos.
