Dear All,
Thank you for the information that you provided me on the loot stashed
abroad by corrupt African despots and their henchmen.
I relayed all that information to ABC news but they developed "cold
feet." Their lawyers warned them that they could face legal
difficulties if they aired the information. So, on May 12, they just stated the
allegations without providing any hard facts, although they gave the
Free Africa Foundation a nice but excruciatingly brief plug.
Nonetheless, the information you sent have been stored and will be used
in future "projects" -- as was the case last Thursday. I testified
before the U.S. Congressional Committee on International Relations on
"Nigeria's Struggle with Corruption. I have provided the links to my
testimony below. You can also watch the video of the hearing. It is 2
hours and 47 minutes long and I come on about 2 hours 06 minutes.
Thanks again.
