I am working with ABC 20/20 on a documentary, “Smart Aid for Africa,” which will be aired on May 12. The theme of the program is that foreign aid has not been effective in reversing Africa’s economic atrophy. Aid seldom reached the people it was intended to help. Corrupt government officials – presidents, ministers, etc. – pocketed the money, spent it on lavish villas on the French Riviera, or deposited it in Swiss and other foreign bank accounts. So a new approach is needed: SMART AID for Africa.

I need HARD FACTS. First, bank account numbers, size of the loot (how much was stolen), addresses of mansions bought by corrupt officials, their names, etc. Please no allegations. For example, we need facts such as these:
