The itinerary program of activist Abate Kassa

Ethiopian human rights activist Abate Kassa (Left - center) with fellow Ethiopian residents in Minnesota during a March 25 seminar. The Ethiopian scholar is travelling across cities in the United States on how to peacefully resolve the crisis gripping Ethiopia: one step is to rally around Kinijit: the opposition party which is widely acclaimed to have won the May 2005 elections in Ethiopia but suffered a wholesale attack by the ruling party of Meles Zenawi, a one-man dictatorship in power since 1991.

Ethiopian scholar and human rights activist Abate Kassa will conduct seminars in the following cities:

VANCOUVER: May 6 from 3:00 to 7:00PM at Chilean Community Center, 3390 School Avenue, Vancouver, Canada (School Ave & Tyne by Safeway on Kingsway)

For a good appreciation of Kinijit’s Vision and Mission, we recommend that you visit Kinijit and read Kinijit’s Election Manifesto. If you wish to make a difference by supporting Kinijit for Unity and Democracy, this is a Seminar you don’t want to miss!
